Privacy Policy & Client-Side Security
We respect the privacy of transitioning service members and veterans. Our calculations execute entirely inside your local browser with zero third-party tracking cookies.
How We Handle Your Military Transition Data
Complete transparency regarding local browser storage, data retention, and zero telemetry.
Zero-Cookie Policy
Military Transition Calculator does not deploy third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or biometric telemetry. You can utilize all pay calculators, VA disability engines, and BAH lookup tools with complete anonymity.
Local Browser Storage (LocalStorage)
When you select a military pay grade, duty station MHA, or disability ratings, our tool stores your preferences exclusively within your device's browser localStorage under the key mil_transition_profile. This data never leaves your computer, is never transmitted to remote servers, and can be cleared instantly by clearing your browser cache.
Zero Server-Side Logging of Financial or Health Data
We do not collect, store, or transmit your military rank, compensation estimates, disability ratings, or medical conditions. All mathematical formulas run directly on your client machine using JavaScript/WebAssembly.
GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you retain the right to complete digital privacy. Because we collect zero personally identifiable information (PII), we do not sell or monetize personal veteran data.
Privacy Standard: Zero Tracking, Local Browser Execution Only
